About Us

After being a Program Director for both another local AAU club and a Youth Basketball program, founder Dominick Petrocci wanted to create a program that would hold itself and its players to the highest level of integrity. His love of the game came from his father who together coached  a CYO team where he assisted for 2 years. After  his father passed from pancreatic cancer in 2011, he was able to reflect on how his father managed to impact so many lives through just a few hours a week. Dominick wanted a program that handled itself with as much dignity and grace that his fathers teams of the 80s had. Monarch basketball is accountability, integrity, respect, Founded in the belief that they are not just athletes, but daughters and sisters and eventually mothers and wives. We have a responsibility as a program to reinforce values by displaying them ourselves. We also understand the sacrifices each player and family makes to provide opportunities for your athlete and want to reassure you that we are as committed to them as we expect them to be.  

 Finally, we understand that every time they take the floor they represent the team, the program, their coaches and their families and the way we play and act reflects on us all. Thats why we say:
